Blood Bros. BBQ: A Fusion of Asian Flavors and Classic BBQ in Houston

Lived up to expectations. Lean brisket was actually juicy. Plain pork ribs were scrumptious and had bark. The glazed/Asian ribs was delightful. Friend enjoyed his sliced brisket oversized sandwich. He said the beans were the best. Nice memorabilia and art for sale adorn the walls. Staff was great. The order and serving line could be more efficient. Definitely recommend this Michelín recognized establishment.

Blood Bros. is doing barbecue with intention. You can taste the patience and care in everything—deeply seasoned, beautifully balanced, and never overpowered by smoke. This is barbecue that honors tradition while still being curious and playful, and nothing feels gimmicky or half-finished. Every bite feels considered. The service team is just as impressive—welcoming, attentive, and clearly proud to be there, which sets the tone for the whole experience. No weak links, no misses, just consistency across the board. Thoughtful, joyful food made by people who care. 10/10. Will absolutely be back.

The best! Guava-glazed ribs have so much flavor! I love the burnt ends. Today i tried the sweet Thai chili flavor for the burnt ends. It was a perfect blend of savory, sweet & a light hint of heat. Also tried the brisket nachos - the portion is a whole tray full. Lots of flavor - perfect for sharing. Will definitely come back soon

Another stop during my vacation to Houston. The staff at the register were extremely helpful because my group was a bit overwhelmed by the options. We essentially ordered a small sampler platter. Had to get some ribs as well as some mac and cheese, brisket fried rice, a brisket banh mi, pork belly bao buns, and a chicken salad sandwich for myself. Both flavor of ribs were great and a welcoming introduction to the rest of the food. The banh mi was more a brisket sandwich with a few vegetables reminiscent of a traditional banh mi, but nothing more resembling such. Similarly, the pork belly bao buns were tasty, but I feel that frying the bun made it "fusion" in terms of texture adding a crispy crunch to the tender pork but it threw me off as the pork belly is already fatty and the bun being fried made it almost excessively so. My chicken salad sandwich was seasoned well with crisp tomato and lettuce, but again, I was slightly confused as the cold chicken salad sat between two toasted pieces of white bread. Two room temperature slices would have complimented the chicken salad much more. Lastly, the sides of mac and cheese and brisket fried rice had phenomenal potential, however, they were warm at best. If they were hot, the mac and cheese especially, could have been something I would want to take gallons of home with me, but it being the temperature it was made me lose the excitement I had for the flavor. I appreciate the great service we received in the restaurant and the atmosphere was amazing as well, I just think the food missed some crucial marks as well as being a tad more pricey than I would have liked to pay. Still a great spot nonetheless and would definitely recommend to anyone who is around the area and wants a nice meal.

Got Brisket, Pork Belly Bao Buns, brisket fried rice, and Gouda Mac and cheese. Top quality moist and tender brisket. Sides were great. Good service and overall great experience.

Everything was outstanding at Blood Bros BBQ. They were a little short-staffed, but service stayed friendly and the food more than made up for it. We dove into their weekend/night menu with its Asian twist—Sleaze Balls are an absolute must-try. I had the brisket sandwich and brisket fried rice, both packed with flavor. The Pig Moe took my wife’s breath away. We’ll definitely be back as we continue exploring the HTX BBQ scene.

If you're looking for something different and spicy, this is your spot. The pork belly burnt ends were a great example of their unique style. They tasted like they were fried and then generously coated in a peach habanero sauce. It was a very different take, but they were delicious and packed a serious spicy punch. The sweet and sour ribs followed a similar theme. These were fried ribs with a spicy, sweet and sour coating that was both tangy and fiery. For sides, the brisket fried rice was exactly as advertised—fried rice loaded with shredded brisket and a noticeable spicy kick. This was a nice break from the traditional brisket, sausage, and ribs combo. The flavors are unique, the heat is real, and the fusion concept is well-executed. If you're an adventurous eater looking to shake up your barbecue routine, you should definitely give this place a try.
